today's outfit: black and purple

I'm not that much for this strange dots-trend which arose sometime last winter. Neither do I like the silly skull-print clothes you can find anywhere you go. Strange enough, today I found myself wearing a dotty outfit with a scarf, in which you can find pink skulls if you only look hard enough... don't ask me. I felt like dressing up a little darker as it was quite dark in the morning too, which made it hard to take good pictures. So this is the result:

It's a simple combination of an embroidered babydoll dress with a purple longsleeve, a black corduroy skirt, purple knee-highs and a beautiful black pair of Mary Poppins style vintage boots, which I love.

Now all you need is an umbrella, and off a-flying you will go:) The skull scarf looks more like a flower scarf though, unless you look closely, which is kind of cool, I like things which are not what they seem at first sight!

@the grey: yes, very right, an umbrella would be just the right accessory to give this outfit credibility =)
